Rules And Regulations

All pilots are required to adhere to the following general rules to ensure safe, realistic, and enjoyable operations within our virtual airline:

  • Membership: All members must complete the registration process, maintain active status by flying at least one flight per month, and update contact details if they change.
  • Respect for Others: Treat other members, controllers, and community partners with respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Realism: While this is a virtual environment, maintaining realism and adhering to standard aviation practices is required during all operations.

Our Code of Conduct ensures respectful and professional behavior across all interactions. The following guidelines are expected from every pilot:

  • Professionalism: Act with professionalism during all communications, both on our platform and on IVAO or other networks.
  • No Harassment: Any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary actions, including termination of membership.
  • Compliance: Adhere to the rules set by IVAO or any other network you fly on while representing our virtual airline.

To ensure uniformity and realism, the following flight regulations apply to all pilots:

  • Flight Preparation: All pilots must ensure that their flight plans are accurate, include valid routes, and comply with the rules of the airspaces they intend to operate within.
  • Minimum Flight Time: Flights shorter than 30 minutes may not be logged unless specifically approved as a short-leg training flight.
  • Landing Rates: Aiming for smooth, controlled landings is encouraged. Extreme touchdown rates (below -500 fpm) will require a maintenance check on the virtual aircraft and may impact pilot ratings.

Violations of the rules may result in penalties. Penalties are issued based on the severity and frequency of infractions:

  • Minor Violations: Include minor breaches in flight protocol or etiquette (e.g., failure to communicate during controlled flights). Penalties may include a warning or temporary score reduction.
  • Serious Violations: Major infractions, such as disruptive behavior, repeated breaches of realism, or disregard for virtual airline rules. May result in suspension or dismissal from the virtual airline.
  • Permanent Bans: Any severe violation, such as harassment, discriminatory behavior, or endangering the virtual airline’s reputation, may result in an immediate and permanent ban.
